Ice. Raw Sugar. Espresso.

Coffee is amazing, especially when shared with a friend. My beautiful friend, Melanie, and I shared sweet conversation over an iced latte this afternoon. This latte was special: it had a packet of raw sugar pulled right with the espresso shot. The sugar had the opportunity to melt and mingle with the cold milk, ice, and coffee. It is difficult to get the sweetness just right with an iced drink, but this technique was delicious. Thanks Melanie for sharing this bit of espresso wisdom with me.
