Kindness
God seriously blessed me yesterday afternoon. I was taking an unplanned nap(you know the kind) when I heard a knock at the door. I stumbled out of my bed and tried to smooth out my crazy hair. My friend, Melanie, was at the door with a brown paper bag full of goodies.
All the special foods I can eat: soy milk, gluten-free chips, asparagus, chicken,beans, nuts, and eggs. She even threw in some root beer and deluxe toilet paper.
God's love is so beautiful. It is wonderful to know that He put me on someone's heart in the grocery store. It is the end of the semester, and things are a bit tight. I've been trying to stretch my dollars, and eat up what I have in my cupboards. Melanie's gift came at just the right time. God feeds the lilies and the birds, and He never fails to provide for me either.
Thank you Melanie for being an example of God's compassion. Thank you for listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. You don't know how much I am blessed by your thoughtfulness.
